Gypsy Espresso offers its experience and knowledge in the crafting of fine coffee as a series of courses.

Espresso training has been devised to give participants a detailed understanding of the coffee industry, its history, processes, skills and methods. The aim of the courses is to impart our knowledge to yourself or your team. We will develop your skill and understanding to enable you to serve the best coffee in the most efficient way, every time.

HOME ESPRESSO
BARISTA BASICS

HOME ESPRESSO

This is the class for coffee enthusiasts and amateur home baristas. If you want to fine tune your skills for yourself, or to impress your guests with tasty brews, this tutorial is for you.

Experience and practice different brew extractions for home. From Filter to home espresso machine.

This class takes place in a working coffee roastery, so you can soak up all the information and settings. The trainers are there to help you perfect your home coffee experience.

BARISTA BASICS

A general knowledge of coffee, from production to supply combined with a practical hands on introduction to barista skills is the focus of this 2.5 hour course.

You will acquire a general understanding of growing, processing and the history of coffee in this session. You will gain knowledge to the fundamental background to coffee, the bean itself.

The final component of this course is participation based, where you will gain hands on training and practice in making coffee.

DESIGN YOUR OWN

We offer private training on-site at our roastery and coffee school. These classes might be one-on-one or with a group and can be tailored to suit your needs. We cater to beginners, all the way through to advanced baristas. These classes work especially well for corporate groups.
